1. Scope and Purpose
This Marketing Policy governs how Balance Ocean Inc. (“Balance Ocean,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) produces, distributes, and manages marketing and educational content across all channels — including but not limited to our website, Discord community, social media accounts, email communications, and any third-party platforms on which we maintain a presence.
All marketing and content decisions are made at the sole discretion of Balance Ocean. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any content, channel, format, or distribution method at any time without prior notice.
2. Content Types and Approval
Balance Ocean produces and publishes two categories of content, both of which are reviewed and approved for educational dissemination:
- Human-created content: Material produced directly by Balance Ocean team members, instructors, analysts, or portfolio managers. This includes written analysis, trade documentation, portfolio commentary, educational explanations, and live market observations shared inside our Discord and across our platforms.
- AI-assisted content: Material produced in whole or in part using artificial intelligence tools — including large language models, image generation systems, or other AI technologies — under the direction and oversight of Balance Ocean personnel. AI-assisted content is used to support educational communication, improve consistency, and expand the scope of material we can deliver to our community.
Both content types are considered approved for educational use by Balance Ocean. We do not guarantee that AI-assisted content will be labeled as such in every individual publication. Users should treat all content published by Balance Ocean as educational material, regardless of its origin.
3. Automated Accounts and Algorithmic Publishing
Balance Ocean operates algorithmic systems programmed by our internal team to automate the publication of certain types of content across our platforms, including our Discord community server. This means that:
- Some Discord channels within our community server may be operated, in full or in part, by bots or automated agents programmed by Balance Ocean personnel.
- Some user accounts on our platforms may be automated accounts (bots) created and controlled by Balance Ocean for the purpose of publishing scheduled, systematic, or algorithmically-generated educational content.
- Automated publications may occur outside of standard business hours, without real-time human oversight at the moment of posting.
The use of automation is a deliberate and disclosed part of our operational model. It allows us to deliver timely market data, systematic strategy updates, and educational content consistently. However, automation introduces risks that users must be aware of, which are described in Section 4 below.
4. Content Accuracy — Risks and Limitations
4.1 Human Error
Content produced by Balance Ocean personnel is subject to human error. Analyses, commentary, trade documentation, and educational explanations may contain inaccuracies, omissions, outdated information, or subjective interpretations. Balance Ocean does not represent that any content published by its team is free from error.
4.2 Algorithmic and AI Error
Automated systems and AI tools may produce content that contains factual errors, logical inconsistencies, misinterpretations of market data, or outputs that do not accurately reflect current market conditions. AI models have knowledge cutoffs, may hallucinate information, and may produce outputs that appear authoritative but are incorrect. Balance Ocean reviews automated and AI-generated content periodically but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy for every individual publication.
4.3 Periodic Review — Not Real-Time Oversight
Balance Ocean conducts periodic reviews of all content channels, including those operated by automated systems. However, these reviews are not continuous or real-time. A period of time may elapse between the publication of erroneous content and its detection and correction. During that period, the content remains visible to community members.
4.4 User Responsibility to Audit
Users are ultimately responsible for independently verifying any information published by Balance Ocean before acting on it.
No content published by Balance Ocean — whether created by human team members, AI systems, or automated algorithms — should be treated as verified, error-free, or suitable as the sole basis for any financial, investment, or trading decision. Members are expected to apply their own critical judgment, conduct independent research, and consult qualified professionals as appropriate.
5. Data Sources and Third-Party Information
Balance Ocean uses a combination of public and private data sources to obtain market data, economic indicators, financial news, and other information used in our educational content. These sources may include, but are not limited to: financial data providers, exchange feeds, news aggregators, proprietary research platforms, and publicly available government or institutional publications.
- Balance Ocean does not independently audit its data sources. We rely on the accuracy of the data provided by these third parties and do not verify every data point before publication.
- If a data source provides erroneous data — whether due to technical failure, delay, misreporting, or any other cause — that error may propagate undetected into content published by Balance Ocean, including content used to generate educational trade ideas, market analysis, or portfolio commentary.
- Balance Ocean is not liable for errors originating in third-party data sources, nor for any consequences arising from content based on such erroneous data.
- The identity of specific private data providers used by Balance Ocean is considered proprietary and is not disclosed publicly.
6. Artificial Intelligence — Disclosure and Limitations
Balance Ocean embraces artificial intelligence as a tool to enhance the quality, consistency, and volume of educational content we deliver. This includes:
- Use of large language models (LLMs) to draft, summarize, or expand written educational content.
- Use of AI tools to generate images, graphics, or visual content used in marketing and educational materials.
- Integration of AI models into automated publishing workflows that generate and distribute content without real-time human review at the point of publication.
Users interacting with content on Balance Ocean platforms should be aware that AI systems have inherent limitations: they can produce plausible-sounding but incorrect information, they may not reflect the most current market conditions or regulatory environment, and their outputs are probabilistic rather than deterministic. Balance Ocean's use of AI is a deliberate strategic choice — but it comes with risks that are disclosed here and accepted by users as a condition of membership.
7. Process Automation — Risks
The automation of content creation and distribution workflows introduces a category of operational risk that users should understand:
- Scale amplification: An error in an automated system can propagate across many publications simultaneously before it is detected. A single misconfigured parameter or erroneous data input can affect a large volume of published content.
- Timing risk: Automated systems may publish content at times when market conditions have changed materially since the content was generated. Time-sensitive information may be stale by the time it reaches users.
- Context loss: Automated systems may lack the contextual judgment that a human reviewer would apply — they cannot always distinguish between a routine publication and a moment when silence or caution would be more appropriate.
- Technical failures: Automated systems are subject to bugs, API failures, configuration errors, and dependency failures that may result in duplicated, missing, corrupted, or incorrectly formatted content.
Balance Ocean monitors its automated systems and conducts regular audits, but cannot guarantee zero-failure operation. Users accept these risks as a condition of accessing our platform.
8. No Investment Advice
Nothing in any content published by Balance Ocean — regardless of whether it was created by a human team member, an AI system, or an automated algorithm — constitutes investment advice, a securities recommendation, a solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument, or personalized financial guidance of any kind. All content is produced and distributed exclusively for educational and informational purposes.
Balance Ocean is not registered as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading adviser, or in any equivalent capacity with the SEC, FINRA, the CFTC, or any other regulatory authority. Membership in our community does not create any advisory relationship between Balance Ocean and the member.
9. Changes to This Policy
Balance Ocean reserves the right to modify this Marketing Policy at any time. Changes take effect upon publication of the updated policy at this URL. Continued use of our platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage users to review this page periodically.
